TPU / Desmopan
Covestro's thermoplastic polyurethane Desmopan® has high abrasion resistance, flexibility over a wide range of temperatures and high elasticity over the entire hardness range. It also has excellent resistance to oils, greases and solvents, as well as good weather resistance and high energy radiation. In addition, Desmopan® EC series reduces the carbon footprint without compromising quality or performance.
TPU / Texin
Texin® thermoplastic polyurethanes are the bridge between rubber and plastic. These materials are available in grades ranging from very soft and flexible to very hard. Many grades of Texin® thermoplastic polyurethanes meet FDA food contact regulations, and some of them meet the biocompatibility requirements of the FDA's modified ISO 10993-1 test.
TPAE / Pebax
Pebax® thermoplastic elastomers are composed of nylon and polyether skeletal blocks. These special elastomers have a very low material density, a wide range of hardness values, extremely effective energy feedback over a wide temperature range and, most importantly, the option of biological substrates.
TPAE / Pebax Rnew®
Pebax® thermoplastic elastomers are composed of nylon and polyether skeletal blocks. These special elastomers have a very low material density, a wide range of stiffness values, extremely effective energy feedback over a wide range of temperatures and, most importantly, the option of biological substrates.
